Stairway to St Benedicts

AR11: Westwick Street, Norwich. SS: 1/125, f/6.3, 55mm, ISO: 250

Contrary to the rumours that Norfolk is as flat as a pancake, the evidence here shows that Norwich and Norfolk does have undulations. This beautiful set of steps is one of two that links Westwick street to St Benedicts. I wanted to get the classis Parisian feel but sadly not quite achieved that. I was in a rush (never a good idea when doing photography) and was also dodging the cars as I had to stand in the road to get this shot. Another shot is closer but on comparing both photos I preferred having part of the church and the back of ‘Cookes’ as I felt it gave more context.
